Copilot & AI — Project work

Microsoft Copilot, rolled out properly.

Copilot is only as safe as the Microsoft 365 environment underneath it. We prepare your Microsoft 365 environment, roll Copilot out to the right people, and train your team - as a scoped project with a written quote.

Every project starts with a free scoping call and a fixed written quote.

What a rollout covers
✓Permissions & data-access review before enabling
✓Licensing guidance — only the seats that need it
✓Pilot group, then staged rollout
✓Staff training that isn't a webinar recording
✓AI usage policy your team will actually read
✓30-day adoption review after go-live

What we actually do

Readiness & security prep

Permissions cleanup and data governance so Copilot can't surface files staff shouldn't see. The same Microsoft 365 hardening we've always done — applied to AI.

Licensing & setup

The right Copilot licences for the right people — no blanket rollout you'll pay for and not use.

Pilot & staged rollout

Start with a pilot group, measure against real use-cases, then expand. No big-bang switch-ons.

Staff training

Hands-on sessions built around your actual workflows — email, meetings, documents — not generic demos.

AI usage policy

Clear, readable rules covering Copilot and the ChatGPT accounts your staff already have.

Adoption follow-up

A 30-day check-in: what's being used, what isn't, and what to change so the licences earn their keep.

Common questions

Is our data safe with Microsoft Copilot?+

Copilot respects your existing Microsoft 365 permissions — which is exactly the problem. Most small-business Microsoft 365 setups carry years of permission sprawl, so Copilot faithfully surfaces files people technically-but-shouldn't have access to: old HR folders, finance spreadsheets, board documents. That's why our rollouts start with a readiness pass — permissions, sharing links and sensitivity labels — before Copilot is switched on for anyone.

What does a Microsoft Copilot rollout cost?+

Two parts. Microsoft's charges: a per-user Copilot licence on top of an eligible Microsoft 365 plan, plus usage-based charges for advanced features such as AI agents - we explain these and help you set spending limits in your quote. And our project fee, which is fixed-price after a free scoping call.

Do we need readiness work before turning Copilot on?+

Almost always, yes. Turning Copilot on is one switch; making it safe is the work. If your SharePoint permissions, sharing links and stale accounts haven't been reviewed recently, Copilot will index and surface whatever they allow. A clean environment also makes Copilot's answers noticeably better.

What about staff already using ChatGPT?+

That's shadow AI, and it's already happening in most businesses — usually with company data being pasted into personal accounts. We put a plain-English AI usage policy in place, train staff on what's safe, and channel the demand into sanctioned tools instead of pretending it isn't there.

Do we need this if you already manage our IT?+

Usually less of it. For clients we manage, much of the readiness work - permissions, sharing and stale accounts - is already done, so the project is smaller and quicker.
